About Kiki
My approach to voice coaching is founded on the belief that every voice is unique and brimming with untapped potential. As an experienced voice teacher, my aim is to unlock this potential and guide you toward realizing the full extent of your vocal prowess.
My teaching method revolves around understanding the intricacies of your voice—its strengths, weaknesses, and uncharted territories. This understanding is then combined with a meticulously designed vocal technique that ensures singing becomes as natural to you as speaking. We begin by identifying potential obstacles in your vocal journey and then map out a personalized vocal exercise regimen to address these areas.
Each lesson commences with specially designed warm-ups that cater to your individual needs and lay the groundwork for the session. Following this, we dive into the core of the lesson, working on everything from basic vocal techniques for beginners to advanced performance skills for more experienced singers. Throughout our sessions, we'll explore a wide spectrum of music styles and genres, guaranteeing a comprehensive understanding of vocal artistry.
What differentiates me from others is my comprehensive and holistic approach to vocal coaching. I am not just a teacher; I am a mentor who deeply cares about your voice. I've had the privilege of working with and learning from globally-renowned instructors, and performing on diverse stages. This extensive experience allows me to offer you insights and guidance that are firmly rooted in practical experience.
The lessons cater to a broad demographic—students from the age of 9 and up, irrespective of their level of expertise or preferred musical style. Whether you're a beginner exploring your vocal potential, a professional seeking to refine your skills, or someone preparing for a musical theatre or opera audition, these lessons are designed to meet you where you are and guide you where you desire to be.
As a voice coach, I specialize in various music styles, including pop, musical theatre, classical/opera, jazz, gospel, R&B, and Alternative/Rock. This versatility allows me to cater to a wide range of musical preferences and ensure each lesson is tailored to your unique musical tastes.
Ultimately, my goal as a voice teacher is to provide a nurturing and safe environment where you can freely express yourself, explore different genres, and most importantly, enjoy the process of learning and growing. Together, let's embark on this journey to unveil the true power of your voice, ensuring you can perform with confidence, skill, and joy!
I've been blessed to receive guidance from globally acclaimed mentors, Like Laurie Winckel, Carol Modessit, Ken Peterson, Norris Chappell Jr., and the Tony Award Winner Lisa Seegmiller. Further honing my skills, I immersed myself in studying music and vocal performance at Southern Utah University.

Perfect! I had an amazing lesson with Kiki! From the start, she made me feel incredibly comfortable, which allowed me to sing openly and confidently in front of her. Kiki gave me specific exercises and techniques to help me improve certain notes and pitches, and her feedback was both constructive and encouraging. Not only was the lesson a lot of fun, but it was also clear how passionate Kiki is about working with singers. Her supportive and motivating style made me feel inspired to keep improving. I’m looking forward to many more lessons with her!

Perfect! Kiki made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I never sing in front of anyone, not even my parents, so this was very new to me. But she made everything super easy and fun! I'm excited to continue my journey with her.
