About Sara
For 30 years I've been teaching and studying music and education. I enjoy developing practice techniques using meditation and neuroscience or brain based learning and games and projects designed to help students more easily and enjoyably achieve their musical goals.
I attended Wayne State University for Music Education where I was selected to study with the pianist for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
I've also studied and worked in early childhood and elementary education as a teacher assistant.

I like to send out a new student survey so I can start to prepare music and study materials based on your interests and musical goals.
Once we know which method will work best for you, you'll be asked to buy 1 lesson book and one theory book. Requested songs and supplemental materials are provided as part of the lessons whenever possible.
