About Matthew
Specialized, individualized instruction and lesson plans. Work both in schools, developing ensembles and individuals.
I strive to show students the joy in learning what they want to learn while developing a deeper understanding of how to do what we do, why we do it.
As well as teaching in private, I was hired on at Roosevelt high school in Sioux Falls SD with their percussion ensembles. I've complete a collegiate piano proficiency exam as well as many course on education throughout my college career. I also work at a music store, with teachers consistently familiarizing myself with different methods.

We will get an understanding of where the students are, what interest them and how to get there. If the students are younger we will just get them playing and build plans based off of natural abilities and practice habits.
