About Umyeena
Hello!
I am a self employed tutor. I have over 5 years of tutoring experience in mainly STEM related subjects. I have a bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics with a Minor in Chemistry. I will be starting my MS in Chemistry this fall.
Subjects I tutor are
1.math from elementary level all the way to advance college level math courses
2. Chemistry
3. AP physics and general physics
4. Biology/cell biology/genetics/biochemistry

I love tutoring! For me personally, teaching is the most important thing to do. Making sure our children get the best education possible is very important. Thus, when I tutor, I want the student to truly learn and understand the material so when they move on in their educational/work careers, they can apply their educational knowledge easily to the real world

When I typically start with a student, I first set up a schedule for how to study. Then, I ask them to take small review test to see what they need the most help in.
After that has been done, each week I assign 5 to 10 problems to do before each session. Usually this is the general format of my tutoring sessions. However, modifications do occur.
