About Raine
Hello, I'm Raine, a BSc (Hons) Physics graduate and MSc Medical Physics student. Physics and maths was not always easy for me - I remember being a secondary school student and struggling with some of the material that I am now teaching. I would like to offer a safe, judgement-free environment to review and learn new material - there are no stupid questions, I will be happy to help with whatever you need!

For physics and maths in particular, I find that the best way of learning and consolidating your knowledge is from doing example/practice problems. It's one thing to have the concept explained to you, and it's another to see it in action. From this, I like to create a friendly and proactive learning environment for the student, helping them understand every step of the way, at whatever pace they need.

Raine tutored me through Higher maths and I don't think I would have passed without her. She was always friendly and patient and her explanations made things click that I'd spent months trying to "get".
Raine is a friendly, kind and patient tutor. She as a great knowledge and understanding in maths and physics and is able to convey and explain problems and answers with confidence and in a way that makes it so easy to understand. A great person and tutor, could not recommend her enough!
As well as having a deep understanding of and passion for maths, Raine is very enthusiastic about teaching. She is able to explain concepts clearly and concisely and is patient and empathetic towards those who don't immediately grasp the concepts.
