About Michelle
I have been in the photography industry for eighteen years. My work has been recognized both nationally and internationally. As a National, Award-Winning Photographer, I have photographed all over the United States and internationally. My wedding photography has appeared in several national photography magazines and leading online photography websites. I specialize in weddings, portraits, corporate, commercial, pet, executives, products and food photography.
I am passionate about helping others learn how to better understand their camera, the ins and outs of lighting, and how to capture stunning images.

I had been asked for many years to teach photography lessons by my clients. I agreed to teach after a previous bride of mine called me to purchase a gift certificate for her father, who was passionate about photography, but didn't really know where to begin.
I have owned my company for eighteen years, and was recognized as one of the top wedding photographers in the country; I have more expereince than most. I have photographed over 1,000 weddings and literally thousands of family portraits. I learned photography shooting film, which was very unforgiving. I am also very experienced with Photoshop.

My first question to my student is "What is the most important thing that you want to learn"?
I have worked with professionals, amatuers and complete newbies.
When looking for the perfect photography teacher, learn from a true professional. You want to hire a pro that has been in the trenches, someone who truly knows lighting. Lighting is key!

I must admit that I was nervous being in the presence of such a great photographer that Michelle Reed is. From the start Michelle Reed made me feel comfortable as she is a very warm person, she truly has a captivating personality. Within a couple of minutes of hearing her speak, I felt the passion, love and respect that she has for photography.
Michelle has an abundance of positive energy and a very contagious smile. She truly makes learning a pleasant experience as she has the ability to describe and break down the functions of the camera in a very understandable way. I am very blessed to have such an artist as a teacher. I am very enthusiastic in taking this wonderful journey of becoming a photographer with Michelle.I have had four 2 hour lessons with Michelle...
I cannot say enough about my experience with Michelle... she was the bestMichelle has taught me literally everything I know about photography. Her expertise is unmatched. She notices even the smallest of details and is always extremely helpful. She’s truly taught me how to have an eye for detail. Michelle is so easy to work with and never minds when I ask her a million questions. I can’t say enough about how much I’ve learned from her and how amazing she is!
