I love capturing the soul of something so it can be enjoyed for years to come.
In 2006, I began teaching screenwriting at Rutgers University as the founder of the Screenwriters Community. When I turned to photography in 2006, I was constantly asked by friends and family to teach them my photography skills. It took off from there.
1) Celebrity Photographer: potraits include President Jimmy Carter, James Earl Jones, John C. Reilly, and many more.
2) Award Winning Landscape Photographer: multiple prestigious awards with CNN and National Geographic.
3) Film Producing: co-produced a Golden Globe nominated film directed by Angelina Jolie.

Lessons are 3 fold: (1) Technical skills, (2) Conceptual creative skills, and (3) Field shoot. These apply to various subjects- portrait, landscape, and wildlife. Technical skills teach you how to use your camera, as well as advanced techniques such as image stacking and light bracketing for stunning landscapes. Conceptual knowledge includes composition, layout, and other artistic elements.
Excellent with all skill levels-- I adjust the lesson to meet your experience.
Professional, amatuer, and hobbyist photographers. I have unique skillsets everyone wants, sharing techniques and methods most other professional photographers don't even know about.

2. Ask them if they are proficient in YOUR camera. (I am proficient in all cameras-- Canon, Sony, and Nikon).
I photographed my own sister on the rooftop of her NYC apartment, and the shots came out beautiful during golden hour.

Perfect! Brian is an amazing tutor. I took 3 session class in the same day. It was lot of fun. He was very patient and took time to understand what my skill level is and then proceeded from there.
We started with technical basics and then he went through my camera settings and finally the practical.
Though we went over the allotted time but he did not charge me extra for that.
There are a lot of good photographers but not many can teach you with the same enthusiasm the way Brian does. I will definitely recommend him.View more reviews
