About George & Stephanie
We offer Traditional Okinawan karate. Our system is based on personal growth and self-defense. In 2003 we started teaching our style of karate at several community centers through the Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department. We grew really fast and became one of the most successful programs in Raleigh. Our program is special because we take the time to learn each student and help them grow based on their needs. We are not a tournament school and our curriculum is tough but very rewarding.
As a karate student, I excelled really fast and found other students frequently came to me for answers. I was then asked by my instructor to help teach and it really felt good to help others.
All black belts are certified by The World Matsubayashi-Ryu Karate-Do association an international organization with hundreds of karate schools around the world.

Our first goal is to understand the student's expectation. Then we give them a tour of the facility and explain to them what to expect from class.
Our experience has been with students as young as 3 and 63.
First I would say understand what you want from karate. Are you looking for a fun activity, want additional exercise or you want to learn self-defense. The next thing you should do is find schools in your area and stop by, talk to the students and instructors.
Every year we put on a demonstration for a local convention and we were very proud of our students for the routine the created.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
It is very helpful if you know what you want from the program. It is not important you know all the details, however it can really help us design the right program for you.

Pricing is broken down by age and program, Ninja Fitness 3 - 6 yr old is $60/month, Ninja Fitness 7 - 12 yr old is $75/month & karate is $120/month. Adult karate students can also take advantage of our group fitness classes with their membership.
