About Mandi
I am a NASM certified personal trainer looking to help people reach their health and wellness goals. I have been training myself for the the last 10 years, and have recently been helping train my friends. I have always lived an active lifestyle and am looking to help other achieve that as well. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health Education with a minor in nutrition.
I love helping others reach their goals and become healthier and happier. It is the absolute best feel to see how great people feel when they start to lose weight and obtain healthier habits.
I love working with people to reach their goals to live healthier and happier lives. I currently teach Diabetes Prevention Program through the YMCA as a Healthy Lifestyle Coach, helping adults lose 7% of their body weight and increase their physical activity to 150 minutes per week.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health Education with a nutrition minor. I am a Certified Health Education Specialist. I also also certified through the National Academy of Sport Medicine as a Personal Trainer.

I want to get to know the new student: What are you hobbies? What are your goals? What kind of work do you do? Do you have a family? Have you ever exercised before? What type of exercise have you done previously? What is your health like?
I will take them through some assessments to see what kind of shape their body is in, ask them questions about their health to see if they have any contraindications, and then will take them through a basic workout.
I have worked with children in the past, but I currently work with adult over the age of 30 who are overweight.

What are your goals? What type of physical restrictions/past injuries do you have? Would you like help with nutrition and meal planning? What type of activity/exercise have you done in the past?
