About Isabelle
The part I like the most of teaching watercolor is that people feel confident and relaxed after a lesson with me. And I always give a simple step-by-step of a painting and in between the steps I teach techniques so students are able to paint without my help too.
I love seeing my students proud of what they accomplished and confident in what they are able to do. I teach group or private classes, all ages and no experience required.
I started teaching arts in 2013 through YouTube. I posted many tutorials of paintings and craft projects. Now I have over 400K subscribers on YouTube.
In person, I started teaching in the beginning of 2021 when I offered painting parties in parks and picnic areas. After that, some students asked me to give them private lessons or to teach their group at work, family, etc.
I have a bachelor degree in Product Design. During my studies, I took classes in live painting, graphic design, fashion design, interior design illustration, 3D illustration besides all the classes I had to learn how to paint and draw with different media. I started painting watercolor when I was 12 when I joined my mother's painting class with a professional artist in Brazil. I also took professional drawing classes during high school. Basically I've been drawing and painting since I was a child.

I give an overall explanation about watercolor techniques and color theory in the first class. On the next classes we pick together subjects and paintings he wants to learn and I give a step-by-step of how to paint that. While we are painting, I teach techniques and color theory in every class as needed.

I price my classes depending on number of students and location. If it's a private class in the student's location the price is higher than if it's in my location or online.
Group classes have a lower fee depending on the number of students.
Private in person classes in his location: $80/h
Private in my location: $60/h
Online private lessons: $40/h
Group classes -10 students: $40/class
Group classes 10+: $30/class
Classes can be up to 2h of duration.
