About Lanie
My name is Lanie Vargas, I teach beginner acylic art. My desire is to spread joy through art. In my class you will learn painting techniques but more importantly you will learn to enjoy art and embrace your style. You will learn technique through my guided step by step instruction while creating your own work of art. Your ability to paint well will increase by painting more and hope that you leave my class excited about coming to another class. I hope the joy of Art Ripples through every area of your life.
I am Grumbacher certified to teach Acrylic, drawing and watercolor. I've been an Art instructor at Michaels Craft Store for 5 years. I also teach art and art history to homeachoolers in my community. My students are ages 5 to 100 (I taught in a retirement community). I also do art parties where I bring all the supplies and make your party guest feel like real artists as I guide them through a painting that they will enjoy taking home.
