About Kim
I believe that prevention beats intervention, however in today's society, I am generally supporting my clients by helping them "undo" the behaviors that have caused their need for intervention. I do this by doing a very thorough assessment to uncover the root cause or causes behind their disease, disorder or ailment, educate them of how this may have occurred and what can be done to improve or regain their prior health status. This is accomplished by providing individualized suggestions for intervention with food, lifestyle changes, nutrition supplementation and further testing as needed.
I have assisted people in improving their health status for over 25 years in a variety of settings: hospital in-patient and out-patient, nursing and group homes, chemical dependency centers, clinics and private practice. I am a registered, licensed dietitian, a certified diabetes educator and am certified in Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy.
Seeing clients achieve their desired results, while improving other aspects of health, energy and confidence along the way. If one person in a family improves their health, that will have a positive impact on other family members and others around them.
