About Amberly

I am a senior Animal and Dairy Sciences honor student at Mississippi State a University. As a result of all courses being shifted to online instruction due to COVID-19, students no longer have the individualized attention or the detailed explanations that are necessary for academic success. Online learning can be a breeze for some, but for others this new system has caused a lack of motivation, decreased class participation, and cheating, 3 things that are all detrimental to scholarly achievement. The ADS has never offered peer tutoring, but what better time than now? Our department offers some very challenging courses that require great effort and most students need extra help. I am here to offer tutoring sessions only in those classes that I've excelled in (listed below), and to give tips on self-motivation, study skills, time management, and goal-setting needed to get through this semester. I have a passion for helping others and I want to do everything in my power to ensure that ADS students excel during this time.

Courses Include:

Animal Nutrition, Animal Feeds and Feeding, Physiology of Reproduction, Animal Breeding, Meat Science, Livestock Evaluation, Horsemanship, and Swine Science.

I have a passion for helping others and I want to do everything in my power to ensure that ADS students excel during this time.

I will only be offering services for ADS courses that I have excelled in. These include: Animal Nutrition, Animal Feeds and Feeding, Physiology of Reproduction, Animal Breeding, Meat Science, Livestock Evaluation, Horsemanship, and Swine Science.
