About Arthur
I am pursuing a bachelor's and a master's degree in Economics from the University of Alabama. I have a strong passion for Mathematics and have always enjoyed the subject. I have gotten a combined 4.3 GPA (A+'s across the board) in Calculus 1-3, scored a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam, and tutored many friends on a wide variety of math subjects ( elementary to calculus). I improved one of my student's grades in Calculus 1 from a B to an A+, which they maintained on every following test for the rest of the semester.
I enjoy furthering my knowledge of mathematics and improving my understanding of the concepts that I have learned. I also love trying to find neat tricks that make solving problems much easier. Helping others understand mathematics more brings me a lot of joy, as it always excites me when my students strongly improve their grades after I help them understand the topics being taught to them in school.
