About Rudolph
My service that stands out is the method I use to explain the science concepts using visuals, demonstrations, and real-life examples. I present my screen, and I show students how to solve math problems using a spreadsheet. This method worked very successfully for my students during the Covid-19 pandemic.
My service is excellent because of the unique approach I use to seamlessly integrate explanations with demonstrations and real-life examples to make learning relevant to my students. I teach students to solve problems rather than simply solve the problems for the students.
When I started my college major in Biology, I enrolled in the secondary education option. I took all my undergraduate teaching courses and my student teaching as part of my degree program. I knew I wanted to teach before I entered college. I knew this was the career choice for me. My favorite courses in highschool were science courses. I wanted to be a science teacher before I started. My greatest accomplishment was to make it through the math, chemistry, and physics courses that were extremely challenging for me. I think if I can overcome those challenges in math, any student who chooses to major in science can also overcome the challenges. If they need a great tutor to help out, they have come to the right person.

When a student asks me to help them with a topic, I find out specifically the course topic that they are requiring help. I give a short lesson on the topic with examples and demonstrations on the topic. I help them answer the questions they are having in their coursework. If it is a chemistry or physics problem that requires math to solve, I teach the students how to approach the problem using a spreadsheet so that they can list all the knowns. I teach them how to set up the equation in a spreadsheet and use the known values to solve the unknown values. I also like to ensure the students know how the scientific discoveries that apply to their topic of interest were made. I explain the real-life examples of why understanding their topic is essential. I make learning relevant.

Details
My lesson prices are $75.00/month to attend my google classroom for 3 one hour sessions per week (MWF) on Google Classroom. My rates are $50/month to attend my google classroom for 2 one hour sessions per week (TTh) on Google Classroom. There will be a max of 20 students in each classroom. My rates are $75/hour for individuals on Saturdays or Sundays outside of my scheduled weekly sessions. All tutoring is via Google Classroom.
