I like to get to see what they know and how they like to do the math. I like to break down all concepts to ensure understanding.
I have worked with a variety of students. All learning styles are accepted.
Interview the person to make sure they are compatible to what you want to do during your tutoring sessions. Ask a lot of questions and be honest with them.
I love working with students that have had difficulty with math in the past and now it gets easier for them as we study together.
