About Ralston

As an avid learner, I always encourage learning in others. I have been tutoring since 2011. In that time, I have helped over 200 students of all ages (from ages 3 to 50) prepare for over 50 subjects, including standardized tests (ACT, SAT, ISEE, SSAT, GRE), and foreign languages (Latin, Arabic, Spanish). I began tutoring professionally after entering college, spending one year as a language tutor for Emory University, then pursuing private tutoring. As a result of my tutoring, students often see a significant increase in their scores, on average ranging from 10-20%.

In 2016, I began my company, Strive Academics, expand the amount of students I can help with like-minded tutors, catering to students' unique strengths and challenges. We recognize that there isn't a cookie-cutter way to approach education as every student has their own differences in the content they understand as well as how they best learn.

We make sure that learning is not only incredibly informative but fun as well, connecting the dots between the different lessons and ensuring that your student isn't solely getting by but building a better educational foundation as we go along. As a result, students really enjoy tutoring sessions and see significant increases in their performance.

Our students have attended top schools in the area, including: Marist, Paideia, Woodward, Northview, Westminster, Pace, The Walker School, Mt. Pisgah, Wesleyan, and more.

and top colleges nationwide, including: Emory, Yale, GA Tech, UGA, GA State, UPenn, KSU, and so on.
