About Madeline
I work as an independent educator and have much more flexibility with regards to scheduling in comparison with large-scale tutoring businesses. As someone with years of tutoring experience in a variety of subjects, I can ensure that I can bring improvement to the area the child needs to focus on. Since I only take on a few students, I will be able to bring much greater individual attention to each student I mentor.
I am currently an undergraduate at Princeton University and have had numerous opportunities in the education field. In addition to my own independent tutoring service, I participated in an outreach program for music as a mentor for students living in low-income communities, and I volunteered at the Children's Science Center as an educator in STEM opportunities.

I normally bring in practice questions in the subject-matter we are focusing on and assess the student's abilities based on what he/she demonstrates. Afterwards, I give walkthroughs on problems the students struggle with and ask them to re-teach what I taught them to ensure they have a solid foundation of the concepts.
