About Catherine
I tailor the learning style to the student's preference, and am very flexible and intuitive as to how to best work with each student.
I absolutely love tutoring students and seeing their progress. I have a passion for lifelong learning, and stay in tune with current scientific progress. Education is the key to unlocking success in our world, and if I can help someone to enrich their education and reach their goals, this is my greatest satisfaction.
I tutored Organic Chemistry and scientific writing throughout college, and taught Music Theory as a Teaching Assitant in my Masters. I have continued to tutor since!!
I earned my BA in Chemistry and Music from Rollins College, have a Masters in Music from New England Conservatory, and have a MS in Geochemistry from UCLA.

She’s awesome! She is really good at breaking down the concepts and explaining.
She explained things very well and was able to understand how I was struggling with some things. She made doing math fun.
I am a college freshman at University of Central Florida and was having trouble with calculus during my first semester. I had used Catherine as a tutor in my senior year of high school but when I started having trouble I called her again. Catherine is an amazing tutor because she is so knowledgeable and and is able to simplify concepts to make them very understandable for me!! The most important thing is that she actually cares and she always follows up to see how I am doing and how I did on my exam reviewing the concepts with me if there are any trouble spots!!! She is SUPER!!
