About Ricardo
I am a recent graduate from UCF in Orlando with a degree in secondary mathematics education and have also completed my first year and am currently still employed as a high school math teacher. I am an avid fan of 6-8 mathematics as well as precalculus and calculus.
I love the joy that comes from understanding math concepts and I love being able to get my students, family, and friends to feel that same way.
I have always wanted to teach since I was around five years old. I always knew that I would eventually become a teacher just not certain of what I would teach. Math became my favorite subject around middle school and that was when I decided if I did teach, math would be the subject I focused on.
I am currently in school working on my last semester of a bachelor's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education.
