Shauna was my tutor during the fall of 2019 and she was a tremendous help when I was struggling with my statistics class. She is a very patient and will explain everything thoroughly while providing excellent examples. She always provides very good notes that you are able to take home and follow if you ever are struggling. She is also very accessible like if you ever have any questions with like homework she was always available through text or email. Shauna is an excellent math tutor who is magnificent in her craft. I, of all people disliked the subject because I felt I could never understand it, and concurrently, always thought it to be difficult. She was the first person that ever told me that math is a skill that is learned; the more practice I get with it, the more skill I will gain. When it comes to math problems, she breaks it down in a way that you can understand. She also goes over the math problem thoroughly and with much clarity. She'll even give a few examples in how to tackle a math problem until you can grasp it before she moves on the next problem. Shauna has been my tutor for the last four years who has helped me become successful in passing all my math classes. That alone speaks volumes of how truly amazing she is as a math tutor.
