About Skyler
I believe in two pillars of learning: Engagement and Achievement.
I seek to engage the students I tutor through creative and innovative teaching methods and explanatory techiques. The goal of my sessions are to help the student understand material on a deep level so they can apply it to new problems in school, on tests, and in life.
I challenge students to engage with the material, thinking critically about concepts to absorb information permanently.
Through my engagement of the student and the student's engagement of the material, they will be able to acheive understanding, confidence, and success in the subject matter.
I graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering with Honors and minors in Music, Math, and Spanish from the University of Oklahoma in 2019, and am currently pursuing my Masters' degree in Biomedical Engineering. I have extensive experience with online and in person tutoring.
