About Niko
In addition to my versatility and strong communication skills, I'm actively building on the topics I tutor in my curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania where I am a rising third-year student.
I chose Engineering because I'm a passionate problem solver. At times it can be trying, but having the right resources to help overcome the inevitable learning curves makes all the difference. In tutoring, I strive to use the lessons I've learned to save others from similar pitfalls. This way they can find more worthy problems to tackle with their brilliance.
For me, it was these types of friends and mentors that played the biggest role in facilitating my discovery of my love for STEM.
I'm a rising third-year Mechanical Engineer at the University of Pennsylvania with experience in the following courses:

Typically, I start by asking what the student wants to accomplish with our time. After creating a quick list, I begin addressing the concepts, topics, and/or questions they've brought forth.
I've learned there is no cookie-cutter formula to tutoring. Flexibility is key in order to best meet the needs of different students.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Spending a little time organizing your thoughts and questions prior to a session goes a LONG way. I would definitely encourage students to make a list of questions beforehand (bonus points if they're accompanied by examples!!).
