About Waqar
I have been tending to teach algebra for the past 3 years or so now. I am currently a college student however, I was helping teaching students one and one during my high school time.
Math is a very complex topic. In high school I noticed that math is a subject that many students have trouble with. I offered to teach help the teacher to help students one on one with learning algebra. I was always fond of that "aha" moment when someone realizes how to do a question. I would enjoy bringing over that same enjoyment to students throughout NYC.

First I tend to see where they are with there knowledge. It can be done through a short exam. After that see where the students struggle with most. What I noticed about working with students is that it's not always as simple as teaching the student how to do it. You must figure out different ways to teach. There really is no typical process, each student just be tailored to differently
