About Kristen
Math doesn't come easy to all. Those who can read and decipher this language have the responsibility to convey its meaning. It is my job to do this for those students seeking a tutor in one of the specified areas of mathematics which are offered. This includes trigonometry, calculus 1, calculus 2, calculus 3, matrix theory, college algebra, intermediate algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, physics, physics 2, differential equations, arithmetic, and elementary mathematics. Many of these courses are prerequisites to higher levels of education. If you or someone you know is struggling with math, help is offered. Please feel free to use any of the contacts provided.
I have tact in the communication of mathematical concepts. I enjoy being able to commute those abstract ideas into plain language that is easily connected to former, or future, concepts.
My experience in mathematics began long ago but my depth of knowledge largely came through my path toward a degree in physics. Physics is something I am passionate about and has never ceased to amaze me. When I was first taught about the math behind physics, I fell in love. The balance in the equations, the variables which equate to real life quantities, and the solutions which help us to engineer the fabric of our lives are some of the reasons I was so strongly attracted to this dense subject. I hope to be able to spark the minds of others through the wonder of all that is physics. And my hope is that my excitement and encouragement will help others to understand and achieve things which they may have initially thought not possible.
