Hi! My name is Mikey. I am an Honors College student in my final semester at the University of Utah. I graduated from East High School with a Sterling Scholar award in Mathematics, an AP National Scholar award, and a 4. 0 GPA. I have tutored elementary, middle, high school, and college students. I have broad experience in many subjects, including STEM, English, and the arts. I will be receiving a BS in Biomedical Engineering and an Honors Degree December 2020. I am a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society, with a cumulative GPA of 3. 8.
I was born and raised in Salt Lake City. I have experience working with students with ADD, ADHD, and various learning styles. I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and have basic first-aid and CPR training. I look forward to helping your child excel in their academic career.

I take the time to learn about a student's preferred learning style. My goal is to help every student I tutor exceed and I believe my teaching style has to be adaptable in order to do so. I know everyone has a different way of learning and practicing new material, and I do my best to accommodate to that. I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where asking questions or requesting extra help are encouraged.
I have tutored students from all ages on a variety of different subjects, including Math, Science, English, and Art. I am qualified to tutor different academic levels from elementary to college-level. I have experience tutoring students with ADD and ADHD as well.
