About Kiana
My greatest passion has always been teaching.I was born and raised in Iran and came here about 6 years ago and have been working as a math and science tutor since 2016,I finished my high school here, then went to UCLA for my undergraduate degree, at UCLA I had a wonderful communication with my TAs in large classrooms and since I was working as a tutor back then, I was learning how to improve my teaching skills and to share my knowledge with students more effectively.there were multiple academic clubs that I joined which taught me specific study tips and strategies to become a better learner and to share this experience with my students .I currently study master of global medicine at USC and I'm planning to apply to dental school next year.during this time I would love to continue working as a tutor, help students get succeed in their classes and reach their goals for whatever career pathway they want to take.
I started working at mathnasium and as a private tutor for students who were taking AP classes in high school.
I have a bachelor in biology from UCLA and I'm currently a master student at USC, I've been working as a math and science tutor since 2016 and I have worked with many students in different levels and I have enough experience in this field

First I try to test the knowledge of the student in that specific area, then based on that I start by giving easy practice problems and then build up the difficulty level as we proceed.
I have worked with different types of students including kids with ADHD and Autism and etc.
