About Alaina
Hi! My name is Alaina and I am currently going to school to be a teacher. I have been tutoring mathematics since 2015, and I love the opportunity to be able to tutor and see the great progress that happens over such a short amount of time. I truly believe that our hobbies help us to better understand educational subjects so I do incorporate real life, hobbies, events, scenarios, etc. into the tutoring sessions. This allows students to be able to connect to the topic in a way that feels more relatable and sensible. Whenever I am tutoring, I like to maximize the time while also getting to know the student because I think it is very important for tutors to know their students better in order to enhance their learning opportunities. Overall, I tutor math from Pre-Algebra to Calculus.
