About Nada
Hi, everyone! I am a software engineer with a degree in Astrophysics, currently teaching on the side! I have 3 years of experience making online solution videos for Chegg and I worked for Varsity Tutors for 3 years as a private online tutor. My teaching method is patient and in-depth. I can help with solution based homework problems or reinforce misunderstood topics. All questions are welcomed! All of my students have improved their GPA in the subjects I have tutored by the end of our sessions together. My time will be dedicated to ensure that you understand the material by the end of our lesson.
I love seeing students go from frustrated about a topic to finally understanding something! Math is always everyone's hardest subject but I like to teach my students that they can enjoy what they are doing while learning at the same time!
I have been tutoring as a part-time job in college since 2014. I worked with Chegg and Varsity Tutors between 2018-2021.
I have a Bachelors degree in Astrophysics with a minor in Mathematics. I have also taught for Chegg and Varsity Tutors for 3 years. Both experiences allow me to excel in tutoring for math and science!

When a student approaches me with a problem or lesson that needs explaining, I take a few minutes to solve the problem on my own and write up a lesson plan on how I could explain this topic. I ask the student what is their preferred method of learning. I use that advice as a guideline of my teaching. If my student doesn't have a specific method, I go with the standard that is most effective in my practice. I go through each step with the student and ensure clarity in my examples. At the end of the lesson I ask my student if there is anything they still do not understand. If it is a lesson, I encourage my student to do a practice problem with me using the method I have taught.
I have worked with students as young as 6 years old to college undergraduate students.
Look for a teacher that will take the time to explain core concepts to you rather than solving a problem. If you are able to understand the framework of the problem, you're more likely to learn and takeaway a huge part from the session.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are some concepts you have trouble understanding in the classroom? No question is a dumb question if it has the opportunity to help you grow.

She’s amazing! Super patient, flexible with scheduling and very detailed. She has no problem with reexplaining to ensure you have a full understanding. Definitely recommend!!
This tutor is extremely knowledgeable about math and physics. She can explain concepts and problems in many different ways to meet your needs. She makes math and physics easy to understand and she is a great teacher. Smart, innovative and kind - I cannot recommend her ENOUGH. Best tutor ever!
She’s not only a great tutor that knows all levels of mathematics, but she’s extremely amicable and patient. She will teach you in ways you are most comfortable with and make sure you retain information to do well on exams. I went from a C to a B+!! Thank you!
Nada is a very hands on tutor and is excellent at breaking down problems and explaining them step by step. I have a hard time understanding math equations, but with the way she works I find it all so much easier to grasp. She's very easy going and is a friendly and intelligent individual. I highly recommend her as an advanced math tutor, you won't be disappointed!
I had an extremely difficult time understanding Calculus but the way Nada explained it to me made it so easy for me to understand.
