About Chantele
I have a Masters in Education. I was a teacher for 7 years and now a tutor for 16 years. I love to take what can be monotonous and/or challenging and make it fun and achievable. I have tutored from kindegarten all the way up to those earning a GED Diploma.
I love working one on one with a student or in small groups. Watching a student realize they have what it takes to master a subject and earn high marks is the best feeling in the world. Also, taking a subject that brings dread and using games, a comfortable atmosphere and positive encouragement and turning that class into something they look forward to is personally satisfying and always my tutoring goal.
I taught fifth grade for five years and fourth grade for one year. As a mom, I now substitute teach for Humbleisd and tutor students of all ages.
I have a Masters in Education from Towson University.
I have been certified in Maryland, Florida and Texas to teach

I like to meet at a public place preferably Starbucks after receiving an inquiry. This makes all parties involved feel safe. At this meeting, we can discuss students needs and plan of action. After this initial meeting, we can tutor in my space at home or in their home.
Kindegarten to 12th grade
I would advise a prospective student to go in with fresh eyes if they have had bad experiences in the challengings subjects already. Realize there are all sort of ways to learn that fit people's certain learning styles and preferences. Together you and a good tutor will find the best way to teach you and it will be a fun adventure.
