About Bhanu
Hi, I'm Bhanu! I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Biology Major and a 3.94 GPA. I was also recently accepted into medical school. I graduated from TJHSST, a top 5 magnet school, and in my high school years, I understood the struggle many students faced with standardized testing and the journey to getting a good GPA.
I began tutoring in 2018 to help people avoid the struggles that I went through. I first worked as a math tutor in Mathnasium, before working as a UTA in college. Now I am currently volunteering with Upchieve, and have accumulated a total of 1200 hours of teaching since 2018.
No matter where I've tutored, the joy of seeing students understand a difficult concept is probably what I love the most about teaching, and that is what will continue to motivate me to tutor in the future.
