About Neha
I'm an undergraduate Biomedical Engineering student at UCONN. Tutoring as a whole excites me as I have experience in the field and it is something I enjoy doing. It allows me to help students with similar struggles to those I've had and help them overcome challenges in a unique but efficient manner. In the past I've worked for Kumon - Math and Reading Center where I assisted students in their weekly work. I've also tutored College Inro Biology to freshmen as a part of a program with the Professor. This gave me the experience of creating lesson plans and understanding the importance of prioritizing the students. Each student has different approaches to learning and acknowledging that is key. I am currently an undergraduate but I do have experience in elementary to high school curriculum. Being a student allows me to still be in the network and know the content that is taught today and narrow down topics that are crucial for students to know.
