About Katie
I am a first year teacher working at a local school district. I teach 6th grade mathematics and love working one-on-one with students to help them reach their goals. Building meaningful relationships with students has been one of my most successful tools in helping students learn.
I have always had a passion to work with students and help students reach their goals. While I love my teaching job I do find my greatest passion to be working with students in small groups or one-on-one environments where distractions are limited to help students grow.

Katie German came to my house and helped my 8th grade, 13 year old son with homework in all his classes, especially Algebra. She was kind yet firm, making him straitened his crumpled papers, hole punch them and clip them into his binder. I saw a real improvement in his grades and thought it was kind when she brought him candy as a reward near Halloween time. We stayed with her tutoring for the entire school year. I would recommend her. She establishes a relationship, starting out soft and becoming firmer as the relationship is established. With time she had my child wanting to do better in school.
