About Jake
I'm currently a Biochemistry major at UCLA, where I’ve just completed my first year with a 4.0 GPA. I graduated high school with a 4.0 unweighted GPA and completed 13 AP and IB courses, earning primarily 5s on my AP exams. This strong academic foundation in both STEM and humanities subjects has equipped me to tutor a wide range of material effectively. I adapt my teaching style to match each student’s needs, whether that means breaking down complex topics, creating custom practice problems, or reviewing test-taking strategies. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence and excel academically, and I’m always open to parent feedback and collaboration. I prefer to work online, as it offers flexibility and convenience for both students and families, but I will always aim to make virtual sessions just as engaging and effective as in-person tutoring.
