About Mary
I am studying Middle School Mathematics at Northern Kentucky University. I strive for mathematical thinking not memorization. To be able to teach a child to develop their mind to understanding mathematics is my true calling. With experience up to Differential Equations, I am up for any challenge.
When I was young I always wanted to be a teacher; now I am chasing my dream of being a math teacher and I couldn't be happier.
I graduated high school with calculus, physics, and statistics awards. Then when i went to college, I went to the number 1 engineering school in the United States where I finished Calculus and Differential Equations with B's.

First I like to have the parent be in contact with my students teacher so that I can assess where my student is in the class. Then I find lesson plans to help determine how the student approaches problems. I am a big supporter of communication, meaning that the conversation about the students worries is a big part of tutoring.
I have worked with students of all ages, even up to the college level. I have even worked with students who have disabilities!
When you are looking for the right tutor make sure that you and the tutor can get along, laugh, and be able to talk easily. Find a tutor that clicks with you. Math should be fun, because it is!
