About Santhosh
My name is Santhosh Rajendran and I'm currently a First-year at The University of Virginia. I am currently residing in my hometown of Essex, Vermont for the summer and until further notice from my school. My experience as a recent high school and middle school student can assist the student with learning on a more personable note. I have spent countless hours volunteering at the local library and even spent some time working as a Tutor at a tutoring center in Burlington.

I have grown up in Essex Junction practically my whole life and with this, comes great teachers and educators. I've learned a lot about teaching from these individuals and have applied it with several opportunities. I first started at 14 by helping out tutoring at the local library. I set up a program and students would come in with problems or review that they would need help with. I then was looking for employment related to education so I inquired a tutoring agency in Burlington, Advantage Learning Center. I worked there as a tutor for Math, English, ACT, and the SAT for almost three years. At The University of Virginia, I will be a Teaching Assistant this upcoming semester.

My typical process consists of me first getting to know the student and their work habits. By doing this, I get to understand what pace is healthy to move forward with. Then, I would try to understand the holes in the understanding of the material, regardless of what subject it is. From there, I would give practice problems to test their understanding of certain difficult topics.
I have worked with several different students. Certain students have had learning disabilities and have shined through greatly. Other students may be at the top of their class and are looking for an extra challenge.

I had to take the SATs my junior year of high school. I had already taken them twice and didn't do as well as I'd hoped. I came in contact with Santhosh through a mutual friend and he helped me dramatically improve my SAT score. He knew the right tips and tricks to ace the test.
Chemistry was a subject I struggled with heavily during my Junior Year of high school. Santhosh would help me a ton during our tutoring sessions and the tests/quizzes felt like a breeze. I would highly recommend Santhosh's services to anyone who is looking for assistance.
I am a college student now but I remember senior year of high school, Santhosh would always be informative and helpful with my math homework/tests. Calculus was a subject I struggled with heavily but through Santhosh's support, I found it to be a lot more intuitive.
During high school, I struggled with Chemistry and Statistics and Santhosh was there to help me during homeworks and tests. He was almost always available and really valued our one on one tutoring session.
