About Brett
I have had years of training, worked with some of the best coaches and training partners in the fight world. Bottom line you will get the most out of your training and can take it to the next level, never become bored or complacent and always have something new to learn while still reaching fitness milestones and overall goals.
I love getting results for my clients and seeing the transformation of confidence, skill, and athleticism.
I was always a wrestler in highschool and college. I had never learned formal striking. So I started lessons in Muay Thai at LINX Academy in Virginia Beach Virginia and in 2 months was training to fight amateur in the WKA.
I am a Honorably discharged Navy veteran and former professional MMA fighter who has been training in Muay Thai, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and self defense for 10 years. I have an applied knowledge for practical use of these Martial Arts and have taught men, women, and children of all ages.

I love to set a baseline for my clients to understand thier fitness level. I also will always have a concentration by teaching techniques and ending with a great workout. I want my clients to leave a session better than they walked in.
I have worked with people in all walks of life. I have trained individuals who wanted a high level fitness program that was not monotonous or boring. I have trained people who desired to learn self defense mixed with losing weight. I have taught underprivledge kids as well as ones with special needs. I have also assisted teaching veterans in the wounded warriors project with physical disabilities
My advice be to loik at the persons resume. Are they ir were they just a fitness trainer or where they an actual athlete with hands on and applied experience. While fitness is good you are truly paying to learn how to Box, Kickbox, or self defense. That is where real life experiences of the trainer lay. Its like this how can you teach a person to hit a baseball when youve never played in a game, how can you teach boxing when you've never been in the ring. Application of what your teaching others is your wisdom.

Details
My standard hourly rate is $60/session once a week, $40 /session twice a week or $30/session three or more times per week. Prices can be negotiable if client refers other clients for training incentive. I also like to offer a free 30 minute session in order for clients to see in the training they will be receiving
