About Jonathan
I am very passionate about helping people grow and learn in a variety of ways with martial arts. The lessons and instruction styles I offer is tailored to fit the needs and goals of the student. No matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced level practitioner there is something for everyone. I have over 11 years of experience teaching all ages, children to adults, of all skill levels.
I began formal teaching in 2006 teaching Chinese kenpo in Phoenix Arizona. I had already been teaching friends and family before that on my own but this is when I first started teaching in a martial arts school.
With 11 years experience teaching martial arts I have also been certified to teach group fitness, Western tai chi, boot camp fitness, and I currently hold the rank of blank belt in three different styles of martial arts.

As a new student we will first discuss your goals and former experience and find out what your preferred material and learning style is aswell as addressing any safety isues such as previous injuries or special needs due to medical issues or physical disabilities. Then we jump right in and get started.
Over the years I have worked with martial artist of all skill levels. I have work with students of all ages from 3 year olds all the way up to senor citizens. Men and women of all shapes sizes and backgrounds. I have worked with special need children with both high functioning and less than high functioning autism, ADD, and ADHD.
Always make sure your program grows with you as you learn and you don't plateau if you are an adult avoid programs designed just for kids.
