About Tim
My focus is on my students overall well being. Martial Arts is simply one of the tools we can use to adjust and improve our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well being. Before anything, having fun and not taking ourselves too serious is at the forefront of my training. We want to alleviate our anxieties by not putting pressure on ourselves to "have to" get better. By breathing, focusing and smiling, we evolve without making it such a grueling mental game with our own ego. Physical activity is in our DNA, and nowadays it is more important than ever to release our sub-conscious anxieties; Martial Arts just so happens to be the best way to do that, and I LOVE showing people the amazing and rewarding world that Martial Arts has to offer.
I love connecting with other people, learning about their life, their goals and dreams, and how I can help them achieve those things. There is nothing better than improving as people, together.
I've aleays enjoyed teaching and began helping beginner students when my instructor told me I should do so.
I am life long practitoner of Martial Arts and I hold the rank off Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Over the last 15 years I have focused my attention on the art of Jiu Jitsu combined with other self defense arts such as kick boxing and boxing.

I take everything slow. I am always cognizant of a students vulnerability when they begin so I assure them that only good can come from what they trying.
I have worked with all types of students and currently teach children and adult classes, male and female.
Find someone whose personality is good for yours. Before anything you want to feel comfortable with the person you are learning from.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should simply have a realistic approach to their goals and what it is they need. Don't overthink things and ask yourself, "what is my goal?"
