About Feliz R
Our approach to self-defense and how we try to imbue the student with the psychological understanding of what real and practical self-defense will it feel like is what brings our approach slightly above all the rest. We try to maintain a reality in our movement and speech so that way our students will not be surprised when they come upon the encounter that takes place with such violence and aggression.
I absolutely enjoy the fact that once my students come to a certain level of understanding how they can perceive these techniques and the understanding of the philosophy behind it and how it all transfers to everyday life. Once this level of understanding is achieved that's when me and my classmates and my students really get to delve into this martial art that we have all come to know and love. That is what I love to express to all new students.
I began studying the martial arts at the age of two under my godfather. Who then introduced me to my current martial arts teachers at the age of 8 years old. And I have been practicing with the same teachers ever since. A joy that I have never regretted and have always thank my godfather for every year!
I have been training in this particular style for over 30 years with 25 years of teaching experience behind me. I have also been training in sports medicine, and rehabilitative measures to keep the body limber and safe so as to keep on going and safe practice.

When first coming into Nemesis Ju jutsu we give you a basic rundown of what are style expect from each student. We also asked you for a physical makeup of your physical abilities and disabilities, in order to help us maintain safety measures are taken on your behalf to our best efforts. We then go into a detailed workout plan of how you will become stronger physically and mentally become more self-aware and self-confident. We will educate you in our drill and fight patterns so that way you will get an understanding of how the style can continually progress.
I worked with students who have hadI hav physical and mental handicaps, from ADHD, ADD, bipolarism, I have also worked with battered and abused partners, people who have been bullied, and victims of Rape.
Talk to the Teacher/Instructor and ask as many questions as you can think of. Do the research into the style you want to study and make sure the person you are coming to is qualified for the job! Remember this is your life we are talking about, nobody is more important than you!
We just held a woman's perception awareness seminar where we show techniques to women to teach them how to pay attention while walking the streets. And the reaction we've got from these easy-to-understand methods was inspiring. When you are able to educate a person on simple tactics and techniques that allows their minds to go beyond the capability that they perceivpe themselves to have, it is very gratifying. Knowing you have potentially helped them save themselves, this is what it's all about! This is why I teach.
