About Virginia
Okinawan Karate Alexandria, a women aka The Virginia Dojo, offers expert training in adult self-defense martial art karate. Known for its practical approach, the dojo focuses on natural body movements instead of strength making it ideal for men and women. (Members average age is 45!) The classes cater to both novices and experienced martial artists, emphasizing reactions to real-life situations like grabs, pushes, and pulls in addition to punches and kicks. They also operate Okinawan Karate for Women, providing traditional Okinawan karate classes specifically tailored for women and teens.
A 9th Degree Karate Master with over 50 years of martial art teaching experience oversees and teaches the mixed men and women's classes. See: (concealed information)
