About Amy
Amy is highly skilled in conflict, sex & intimacy, yoga, embodiment & Breathwork, grief and trauma-informed somatic mapping. A social science researcher, she is intuitive and caring, and deeply committed to the theories of self-determination, motivation & game theories, and integration of mind-body-heart-spirit.
After 17 years of teaching children and diving into educational pedagogies, Amy moved from teaching math, writing, English composition, life science, Spanish, and study skills, to adult education in relationship, sex, conflict, money, and parenting. Amy’s completed two yoga certifications in Ashtanga/Vinyasa flow yoga and Anusara. She is also a certified sex coach and mediator.
Tracy is a bio researcher who is a certified somatic sex coach.
I enjoy helping people find their way, and do it in a way that they can fly on their own without getting stuck. It’s a “teach a wo/man to fish” model rather than “give a wo/man a fish.” It saves marriages. It creates better outcomes for kids. It helps men and women know themselves better and show up in their lives in integrity, with greater self-live, with a greater view of abundance because scarcity makes people show up in a miserly way in their lives.
I did child and adolescent education for 20 years, and then decided it would help the world more to move to adult education, especially in terms of helping families make it through the trenches of raising small children or teens, and re-thinking divorce, affairs, boredom, and familiarity. I also noticed an ennui as children left home, and wanted to help adults rekindle their sex lives throughout any stage in the developmental life span.
Amy is a longtime educator, certified yoga teacher in Anusara, Vinyasa Flow, and Hatha with a longtime daily pranayama and meditation practice. She is a certified mediator and conflict coach, and a certified sexological somatic practitioner.

25-36-year-old techies, predominantly men, looking to understand their sexuality and dating style better, often in the context of cultural responsibilities and expectations.
Men who need help with understanding how a physical issue may be rooted in emotional/intimacy issues.
25-40-year-old women who want more out of their dating life, want a relationship and are not navigating the current dating world well, want to understand their emotions and their sexuality better. Want to ask for what they want, or learn what they want.
Couples thinking about the next steps: I offer a six-session education and discernment process.
Couples thinking about divorce: I offer a five-session discernment process that leads 90% of couples to a better sense of themselves and the relationship, creating some grace even if they decide they are going to divorce.
Couples with desire discrepancy, functional issues, and deshamifying their desires.
Couples doing all of that (above) AND who need conflict skills.
Sexual shame, relationship trauma.
I had a woman come see me about her dropping desire and issues with sex with her husband, and she left with a renewed sense of purpose and a new career plan.
Another recent client was a young professional man who felt shame and concern over his self-pleasuring, and attitudes about it. We had three sessions that gave him a better sense of who he is, what “normal” is, and ways to think about boundaries and scope, in terms of his body, his family, his religious views, and the realities of his current demands.

Details
The standard rate for life coaching or relationship/sex/intimacy consultation is $150 per hour.
Sessions must be prepaid through our online booking system. Monthly options are available, as are packages of sessions.
