About Kate
I have a degree in Medicine and Human Biology, I have been working as a tutor for the last 5 years and have lots of experience tutoring adults and children, from a range of backgrounds and abilities. I have had the pleasure of seeing my students achieve some great results and gain confidence in the subject area.

There is no one structure that will suit all students so I prefer to meet my student first and get a better idea of what works for them. This may take a week or two as I get to know the student and their specific learning style. The key that I have found to successful tutoring is to be as approachable as possible with the student. This allows the student to feel uninhibited about questions they may want to ask.
Patience is another key factor in successful tuition and is something I have received praise for in the past. This allows for as much time as is needed for a student to grasp a particular concept and I believe that it is the role of the teacher to find a way to explain a concept, even if this may take longer than expected.
