About Robert
Award winning students such as: platinum LA recording artist; music director for The Voice; classical guitar competition winners; teachers and administrators of music (guitar) in the US and abroad. I too am a worldwide performer/recording artist and teacher. Currently teaching at Radford University's department of music and privately.
I enjoy helping my students to succeed, musically, personally, and at whatever level they aspire.
My three degrees, B.M. in Guitar Performance, M.A. in Guitar Performance, and D.M.A., in Guitar performance. Performs and teaches worldwide as soloist and in ensemble. Full-time, full professor of guitar at Radford University. Reviews in New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, and review journals of The Guitar Foundation of America and Fanfare.

Interview to ascertain what the student desires in terms of level of achievement/skill. Next, to ask what music and musicians inspired them. What experience brought them to desire and seek lessons. Answers to those questions help me to choose the best materials to bring into the lessons. This process usually repeats itself as the student grows and learns of new avenues to explore.
