I’ve been taking jazz improvisation and composition lessons with Daniel for a year now, and it would be no exaggeration to say that these lessons have been truly transformative, mind-expanding and creatively uplifting for me. Mr. Hass is a talented and generous teacher. His depth and breadth of musical knowledge is inspiring. In three months of weekly study, i’ve learned to play several pieces on the cello and feel able to study more on my own.
