About Moses
Here at Heritage Folk Music, we have a passion for the heart and legacy of the American Roots. Providing highly customized instruction in Banjo, Guitar, and Harmonica, our goal is to bring students to the next level in their musical aspirations.
Our primary instructor, Moses V. DeHart, is a Philadelphia native, historian, author, and a performing artist. He recieved his Bachelor's of Arts in Music from Cairn University in 2018, and has gone on to perform and tour locally and internationally.

When we recive a new student, our first priority is hearing from them - what their goals, aspirations, and musical hopes are. The second is coming up with a lesson-plan and schedule, setting in place specific goals. Above all, however, our hope is that students will gain an appreciation and love for the rich heritage of American roots music.
