About Pierre
I have been playing , teaching , recording and composing music over the past 35 years. I tailor my lessons based on the students skill level and interests. I have found this approach will help make learning fun and build skill level quickly.
I am a Graduate on Musicians Institute 1985 GIT. I graduated with High Honors. While I was a student , I was hired as a private guitar instructor for the Summer Session 1985 and the following year 1986 at Musician Institute. I was an instructor at the music store in Old Saybrook Oct 1985 to May 1986. Later I was instructor at Ron's Guitars 1996-1999 and 2005 to present. Also now giving bass guitar lessons as well.

First thing is to assess your skill level and main music interests. I build lesson plans that are tailor made to you needs.
I have worked with a blind student back in 1987 at the Music Store in Old Saybrook. I have had a student with one hand and the other hand was only a thumb back in 1996. He learned to play guitar left handed and used the thumb of his left hand to strum chords and play solos. The age range of students has been from 8 to 68. Most students have been in the teenage years and many have been over 30 year old plus range.
