About Kate
I've been playing music since I was a young child, playing piano, singing, viola, and guitar. I was a music production major in college and love getting to teach students. I also was a youth pastor for ten years, so teaching students combines my love of music and students in one wonderful opportunity!
I have been taking private lessons most of my life, and am skilled in music theory and sight-reading.

I get to know the student, finding out their goals with music (and their favorite candy!), then get to work! I use a combination of learning scales, reading music, and understanding chord theory to equip students for all they will need when it comes to music. I have concerts every several months and i love what i get to do!
