About Robert
Hello my name is Robert and I teach beginning guitar lessons on acoustic guitars to students 18 and older, we also teach beginning level acting, career counseling as well as vocal training for actors and musicians.
I have been a professional musician for over 20 years as well as a teacher. My background has been playing throughout the country at various venues and I have been written up in online and articles for my work. Music is my greatest passion as a performer and a respecter of musical artists. I love what I do and it shows throughout my work.
My agency is located inside a gorgeous Mansion located in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood on North Sheridan Road. It's a spectacular view and environment to create music.
Meeting new people, sharing a common bond of music, watching people enjoy creating music

We chose Avalon Agency because of our past experience working with Robert and Patricia. They were always extremely pleasant and accommodating when I had to cancel or switch times. My daughter took acting lessons and loved it. Learned a lot to prep for auditions. I just wanted to dabble with guitar. After my 1st lessons I was surprised to be playing a song. Had a good time. Some teachers are arrogant and pushy but these people were chill and made us feel welcome.
I hired Robert to teach me guitar and for a vocal lesson. I'm learning acting as well to prepare for an upcoming musical theatre production where i have to sing and play guitar. I was so pleased and happy that Robert was a personable knowledgeable professional teacher. He got right to work with me and we spent the whole time working on my craft. I had a few lessons to get me ready for the show I highly recommended him.
