About Terry
ATHLETICS:
I was a 5-sport athlete in my youth, playing baseball, golf, tennis at a competitive level and winning. I can coach all athletes, but my personal experience is where I invest most of my time. My golf handicap is approximately 8-12, which means I can shoot 75-80 for 18 holes. My 40 years of links experience has taken me to about more than 200 tournaments and famous courses like Pebble Beach and dozens of others. As a coach, I focus on the the two keys to good golf: The mindset/mental game so you don't play "avoidance sports" and the physical strengths needed to excel in any sport.
My Specialty: With an emphasis on the Gold Medal Mindset, I teach as a sports performance expert from years of work in the field as an athlete, coach and mentor.
LIFE/BUSINESS
As a life coach and business consultant, you will find that my lessons are real-world based and not one person’s mantra or speculation. While I have learned from the best, my teachings are my own and work for everyone who is willing to to give 100 percent for 100 days. I own several businesses and have started or co-founded five others, including immediate profit/growth operations, non-profits and charity work.
PHOTOGRAPHY:
In 25+ years of owning a national photography company, I have mastered many specialties. Among them are artistic portraits, theater/music/athletics, travel/adventure photography and documentary photography.
I have won more than 20 awards for journalism, sports photography, portraits and feature work since 1987.
Photography is a passion in my life, and it always has freed me to engage my creative skills. The digital cameras today can simplify the system, but a creative eye, judgement, discernment and anticipation are still learned skills.
I engage students in a hand-on approach, asking you to learn as you take better images. Understanding your current habits and knowing if they help or hurt your images is where I can assist you initially. Opening your imagination and photographic eye to see great images
brings your art work into a professional realm.
Friends and students have asked me for lessons for years, and I’ve always done my best to mentor others. I lead by example.
I have a BA degreee in journalism/psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University.
• COACHING/THERAPY I trained in several areas (Entrepreneurship/Investing, Family Relationships/Couples, Confidence) before and after becoming a certified Rapid Transformational Therapist in 2019. Since that time, I have become a mentor, coach/therapist and a sports performance therapist training athletes to overcome obstacles and consistently exceI.
•PHOTOGRAPHY I have worked as a photo editor, professional photographer for corporate, portraits, special events and photojournalism.
My training methods are positive, interactive and fun to encourage students to practice their skills as time allows.
With more than 30 years of photographic experience, I am happy to recommend cameras, lenses, flashes, studio equipment, video equipment, computers and the professional photography side of budgets, marketing/advertising and more.
I have been shooting digitally for at least 20 years and love what digital cameras and software can do to get the final product to an impressive state.

I like to speak to students and ask them about their wants, desires from our lessons. I am here to exceed your goals with your coaching choice.
I share personal stories and build a friendship. For me, honesty is the best policy. So I am completely open about my skillset, background and history. Students can learn any skill in my field of expertise. Students are also encouraged to ask all relevant questions so they can improve after our final lesson.
Find someone who is interested in helping you first. True mentors are ideally kind, patient and teach in a variety of ways for all types of students.

• In my life, EVERYTHING starts with a thought and belief before the action we are trying to master. Even hitting a ball with a bat, club, raquet, etc. requires awareness, intention, purpose, and visualization before you dive in physically.
• That is why I have training as a coach, as a multi-sport athlete, as a trained sports performance therapist with a deep background in strategy, competition and more.
